On Sunday afternoon, the Arizona Cardinals take on the St. Louis Rams in the regular season opener but before we can get to that point, there are some injuries we have to update Cardinals fans on.

First injury news to report on is wide receiver Andre Roberts. Roberts has been dealing with a quad injury this week but it seems like he is ready to go on Sunday. He was limited in practice on Friday and is listed as probable for Sunday’s game. But not to fear, Roberts will be the no. 3 wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals and will get as many snaps as Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd.

Finally, the last injury news to report on is running back Rashard Mendenhall. Mendenhall has been dealing with a knee injury this week but returned to practice on Friday and fully participated. He just like Roberts is also listed as probable for Sunday’s game. Mendenhall will be ready for Sunday but the Cardinals will also use Alfonso Smith and Stepfan Taylor as spot backs behind him.

Don’t forget Sundays’ game start at 4:25 PM ET/1:25 PM PT on FOX.
