On Sunday, the Arizona Cardinals escaped with a 37-34 overtime victory over the Tennessee Titans to keep their playoff hopes alive. Even though they escaped with the victory, four Cardinal players in particular had injuries.

First of all, quarterback Carson Palmer has a low grade ankle sprain. This was confirmed by Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com.

Palmer suffered the ankle sprain, when Titans defensive end Kamerion Wimbley hit him low early in the game. Palmer would continue to play in the game just like he did versus the Philadelphia Eagles a few weeks ago.

Next on the injury report is wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald suffered a concussion in Sunday’s game but still must pass the protocol to play this upcoming Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. Darren Urban also reports that Fitz did pass tests to leave the stadium.

Third on the injury list is running back Andre Ellington but he should be fine after leaving Sunday’s game in overtime with a thigh injury.

Finally, safety Rashad Johnson has a high ankle sprain which is not good because Arizona is already thin at the position with Tyrann Mathieu out on IR. Hopefully, Johnson can play because they will need him against Russell Wilson and the Seahawks’ passing game.

The Cardinals are a little healthier heading into the Week 17 game against the 49ers. There’s still seven players listed as questionable, including Johnson, John Abraham and Darnell Dockett, but Palmer and Fitzgerald are healthy. .
