We’re on the cusp of Arizona Diamondbacks Spring Training with beautiful sunny skies here in Phoenix, with Salt River Fields ready to get the 2014 Major League Baseball season underway. The Diamondbacks are coming off of their second consecutive 81-81 finish and will look to compete for the National League West title again this season.

While the Diamondbacks aren’t free spenders like the Los Angeles Dodgers, they’ve done a good job plugging in a few players to address some specific needs. With those new players come some position battles. Who will be the outfield starters? What will the back end of the rotation look like? Who’s the everyday shortstop?
