Welcome back to Heat Waved’s Arizona Diamondbacks Spring Training roster reports. This is the second in a series in which we’ll move around the diamond to give you a glimpse of each position and what to expect. We’ll go through the depth chart to look at the starter, backup and non-roster invitees to drop some extra knowledge on all of you before the season begins.

If you’re interested, here’s the first report, which was on the catchers.

Today, we’ll be covering the infielders. The corners are set with Paul Goldschmidt and Martin Prado firmly in their places, but the middle infield provides us with some different possibilities. Let’s get right in to it.
