Corbin really came out of nowhere in 2013, making his first All-Star team in just his second season in the majors. He went 14-8 with a 3.41 ERA on the season, throwing over 208 innings while only allowing 189 hits. The lefty is projected to be the Opening Day starter.

Patrick really hit a wall late last season, which the Diamondbacks hope was just due to the heavy workload. After starting 11-1 with a 2.35 ERA, Corbin finished the season going just 3-7 with a 5.19 ERA. He allowed almost as many hits in 78 second half innings (92) as he did in his 130.1 first half innings (97).
