The Arizona Cardinals play their second game of the preseason against the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday.  After dominating the Houston Texans in the first preseason game, the Cardinals will be looking to sustain that success against the Vikings.

More from Arizona Cardinals

Even though the defense completely shut down the Texans last week the Cardinals continued to shore up the linebacker corp by signing former Viking Desmond Bishop.

They also welcomed back linebacker John Abraham after he missed most of camp following a DUI arrest at the end of July. It is unlikely that either will see the field on Saturday considering either has participated camp thus far.

The third quarterback has been a focus for NFL teams in recent years because of the potential for injury. One of the key position battles in Cardinals camp is for the 3rd string quarterback.  After Logan Thomas made his case for the job last week against the Texans, Ryan Lindley will get his turn on Saturday against the Vikings.

Although the offense put up 32 points last week, the Cardinals did not rush the ball particularly well.  The coaching staff is hoping the rush game can gain some momentum on Saturday.
