According to police Jonathan Dwyer has been arrested on several charges. The NFL has had a rough few weeks with several key named players like Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson being arrested for violent acts committed against either women or children. As a result, several suspensions have been put on these players which have become pretty severe after the NFL recently adjusted their domestic violence policy.

So we would think players would learn from these acts and try to prevent themselves from being in the spotlight for the wrong reasons right?

Unfortunately no…Arizona Cardinals’ very own, running back Jonathan Dwyer, has just been arrested for domestic violence over an alleged altercation with his wife. According to CBS Sports, Dwyer was arrested in Phoenix on suspicion of aggravated assault and preventing someone from calling 911.

This is an absolute shame and, like everyone else, expect a long suspension to be placed on Dwyer immediately. It is sad to see so many NFL players using their aggression that they use on the field also on their wives and children. These players need to learn how to control their emotions and aim their aggression for football and solely football.
