The Arizona Wildcats host the California Golden Bears in their first PAC 12 test of the season. This game is an intriguing between two teams in different stages of a rebuilding effort.  The Wildcats are looking to take the next step and become conference contenders. The Golden Bears are looking to become relevant again in the PAC 12 and win over the upstart Wildcats would be a big step in that direction.

The Arizona Wildcats are 3-0 to start the season and they got there with an explosive offense led by signal caller Anu Soloman.  The freshman quarterback earned the starting position after winning a three-way battle in fall camp.  As a result the Wildcats were able to surprise some teams on the non-conference schedule.  But now the secret is out and the Wildcats won’t be able to sneak up on the Golden Bears.

California is also looking to stay perfect on the season.  The 2-0 Golden Bears also like to throw the rock led by sophomore quarterback Jared Goff who has tossed 7 TD passes this season and like Arizona, California has an offense that depends on the big play.

Neither of these team likes to play defense so this game should be a shoot-out from the opening whistle.
