The Arizona Cardinals take on the Washington Redskins today in a key week 6 match-up.  After losing at Denver last week, the 3-1 Cardinals will need to win today to keep from sliding into a two game losing streak and maintain their lead in the very competitive NFC West.

The unpredictable Washington Redskins are an interesting opponent for the Cardinals.  Unpredictable because of their quarterback play.  The Redskins effectiveness on offense depends largely on which Kirk Cousins decide to show up for the game.  Will it be the Cousins who throws for 300 yards and 4 touchdowns or the one that throws for 100 yards and three interceptions.

The Cardinals are certainly hoping for the later of the two as they could use a stress free game in week 6.

Carson Palmer is returning after a week 1 injury but whether he is actually 100% or being rushed back because of an injury ro Drew Stanton remains to be seen.  In either case the Arizona Cardinals are hoping to keep Palmer from aggravating his nerve injury.  Getting an early lead against the skins at home will definitely help the cause.
