Randy Johnson

Obviously, Randy Johnson would be the ace of this staff. He won four of his five CY Young awards pitching for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Don’t forget, Chase Field is known for being a very hitter friendly ball park, but that didn’t affect Johnson at all. During his eight years in Arizona, Johnson was 118-62 and owns a 2.83 ERA. Of those 118 wins, 38 were complete games and 14 were shut outs.

Johnson leads the franchise in wins, ERA, innings pitched (1630.1), complete games, shutouts and strike outs (2,077). Oh, and let’s not forget the Co-MVP of the 2001 World Series and a perfect game at the young age of 40.

RJ appears on the Hall of Fame ballot for the first time this year.  With 303 career wins, The Big Unit should be a first ballot inductee.
