We are two weeks away from Opening Day of the 2015 Major League Baseball season and there’s no better time than now to take a look at the top walk-up songs for the 2015 Arizona Diamondbacks.

My roommate would show up to my team’s intramural softball games at Arizona State last year with a Jambox and connected his laptop to it to play walkup songs for each batter. I would rotate my song for each game and the songs varied among different genres and decades.

These songs ranged from “Under Ground Kings” by Drake, to “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC, to “Strangers Like Me” by Phil Collins. I realized as I was preparing for my second season of  intramural softball that I was in need of walk-up songs to fit my personality and swagger (or lack thereof).

As of right now, this is my list of songs that “fit” me:

  1. Lights- Journey
  2. Man of the Year- ScHoolboy Q
  3. Crack A Bottle- Eminem
  4. If I Were a Boy- Beyonce
  5. White and Nerdy- Weird Al Yankovic

Enough about me, but in my very heavy research for quality songs to have as my own walk-up songs I stumbled across the walk-up songs for the Arizona Diamondbacks. I organized the top-three walk up songs for position players and for pitchers below.
