The Arizona Diamondbacks (36-39) begin their final home stand before the All-Star Break by hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers (43-34) for three games beginning Monday night.

The Dodgers currently lead the NL West with the San Francisco Giants right behind in second place only one game back.

The D-backs, meanwhile, sit in third-place, six games behind the Dodgers and half-a-game above the fourth-place San Diego Padres.

With that in mind, it’ll be a crucial three-game series for both the Dodgers and the D-backs. Arizona will look to chip away at the Dodgers lead, while L.A. will attempt to brush off the Giants who are knocking at the door, ready to de-throne the Dodgers at any minute.

The Dodgers so far this season currently lead the series against the D-backs 7-2. These two teams previously met up in Los Angeles on June 8-10 and the Dodgers swept the D-backs in three games.

Despite Arizona’s struggles, it’s always fun when the Dodgers come into town. There are stars on both sides of the diamond that fans are always eager to cheer on.

Let’s check out a few!
