Breaking down each game of the 2016 NFL season for the Arizona Cardinals as they look to get back to the NFC Championship.

The Arizona Cardinals schedule for the 2016 NFL season features some high-profile teams, including the New England Patriots making their first regular season trip to University of Phoenix Stadium. However, the Patriots will be without their signal-caller after Tom Brady’s suspension was brought back into the fold and he will miss the first four games of the season.

The Cardinals will have five of their eight home games at University of Phoenix Stadium before their week nine bye. To begin the season, the Cardinals have four primetime games including the matchup against the Patriots in week one, a game against the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara, and then home games against the Jets and Seahawks in mid-October.

Arizona will take on the Carolina Panthers, who eliminated the Cardinals in the NFC Championship game last year, in Charlotte, N.C. following their primetime games against the Jets and Seahawks.

Five of the last seven games of the season will be on the road for the Cardinals, which will be a difficult task to overcome down the stretch, but something that is definitely manageable for a deep Cardinals team.

ESPN has the Cardinals predicted to go 13-3 on the season with road losses to the Carolina Panthers, Miami Dolphins, and Seattle Seahawks.
