4 Diamondbacks On The DL To Start The Season

The Arizona Diamondbacks will start the season without four top players Cody Ross, Adam Eaton, Willie Bloomquist and Didi Gregorius as all four of them were placed on the 15 day disabled list.

With Opening Day now upon us the Diamondbacks will open the season up with top prospect A.J. Pollock playing center, Cliff Pennington starting at shortstop to open up the season against the St. Louis Cardinals on Monday night.

In corresponding to the injuries and with roster spots needing to be filled the Diamondbacks will be calling upon Josh Wilson and Alfredo Marte to serve as backups as the four players get healthy for a return to the roster.
