Phoenix Suns forward is in trouble once again.
Beasley was arrested in Scottsdale, Arizona early this morning for possession of marijuana. According to Scottsdale Police, the 24-year old was stopped for a traffic violation at 1:15 a.m. As the officer approached the car, the smell of marijuana came to the forefront, and a search of Beasley’s car recovered the marijuana.
Since the versatile forward joined the team last summer, he has faced multiple driving offenses, a sexual assault investigation, and now an arrest for marijuana possession.
Even more discouraging, Beasley has a history of substance abuse. He was pulled over by Minneapolis Police in June 2011, and the officer then also detected a strong odor of marijuana. As a member of the Miami Heat, Beasley also violated the NBA’s drug policy twice.
