The injuries just keep on piling up for the Arizona Cardinals tonight and now you can add their top pick in Jonathan Cooper to that list. Cooper has been starting with the first team offensive line and a devastating injury to him can set this line back. According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, he says that the Cardinals are nervous about Cooper’s lower leg injury.
If you don’t know what happened, Cooper got injured by getting his left leg rolled up on a downfield block and after that he was carted off the field. At this point, there is no further news out about how serious his injury could be. Darren Urban of AZCardinals.com tweets out:
As of right now about Urban’s and the official Arizona Cardinals twitter account have not tweeted anything about the game or Cooper in the past ten minutes so right now it is a wait and see at this point.
