In yesterday’s game versus the San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell was taken off of the field in a stretcher and it seemed like it was a very serious injury.
On a side note, San Francisco 49er fans did not take the injury serious as they did wave and Niners offensive lineman Joe Staley did not take lightly to that.
To all the fans that did the wave while a player was on the field in pain getting carted off, I was embarrassed for you. Very disrespectful

But Campbell seemed to be okay as he gave a thumbs up on his way to the hospital. Here is an update on Campbell’s condition from the Arizona Cardinals announced this morning:
Great news: Calais @Campbell93 was released from Bay Area hospital late last night & has returned home to AZ.

It is truly good to see that Campbell is doing well and it could mean that he could play either next week or the following weeks. Whenever he does come back, the Cardinals’ defense will need him because this season he has been a force. So far, he has 18 combined tackles, 3.5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble.
