In a Pac-12 showdown in the great state of Colorado, the Arizona Wildcats defeated the Buffaloes 44-20 tonight. Let’s just say despite, Arizona’s two turnovers, the rushing attack came to play and won them the game.
Tonight was the B.J. Denker and Ka’Deem Carey show and we were all invited and they did not disappoint at all. Denker, Arizona’s quarterback, had 192 yards rushing on 15 carries including a 54 yard run. On the other hand, Ka’Deem Carey only had 119 rushing yards on 23 carries but he had four touchdowns on the day, truly impressive.
Lastly, I cannot forget running back Daniel Jenkins who got some carries in today’s game as he rushed for 87 yards on nine carries.
The only bright spot for Colorado was wide receiver Paul Richardson, who got shutdown by Arizona State but in tonight’s game actually made an impact. He had seven catches for 132 yards and one touchdown. Expect to hear his name on Sundays very soon making plays.
I wouldn’t say this has been one of Arizona’s best performances but stats might say otherwise. The Arizona Wildcats put up 670 yards of total offense compared to Colorado’s 349 yards.
The Arizona Wildcats now have a record of 5-2 and 2-2 in the Pac-12. Their next game will be on Saturday, November 2nd against the Cal Golden Bears at 3:30 pm ET. This is a big game for Arizona as this will be another road test. This game can be seen on the Pac-12 network.
