The Coyotes are 17-10-3 at home, but are just 10-11-7 on the road. Of the last 24 games, the Coyotes have 13 of them away from Jobing.com arena. Their last five games on the road have been decided by a single goal, with losses against the Blues, Flames, Canucks and Stars and a win over the Oilers.

The schedule makers didn’t do the Coyotes any favors, either. Starting on March 8, the Coyotes are at Washington, then make the long trip down to Tampa Bay, a quick stop against the Florida Panthers, then back up to Boston. For a team that doesn’t fare well on the road, that’s a lot of travel in just five days.
