Yandle can be very good, as he’s leading the team by far with 19 power play assists, but he can also be very bad, as he’s dead last on the team with a minus-17 rating. He’s also second on the team in shots (161), but has a horrible 4.3 scoring percentage on those attempts.
Yandle hasn’t posted a negative rating since the 2008-09 season, when he was a minus-4. His shot percentage is also the lowest he’s had since that season. To Yandle’s credit, he hasn’t missed a game since that 2008-09 season, either. He’s an ironman, but maybe he needs a day off from time to time to recharge those batteries.
