Ahmed hasn’t seen the majors yet, as he hit just .236 at AA Mobile last season. Evans has been a career minor leaguer, though he’s played more AAA ball. Last season, he hit .267 with 19 home runs and 81 runs batted in for AA Mobile. Freeman also played for Mobile last year, hitting just .247 after posting a superb .309 average in 2012 for A+ Visalia. Jacobs is attempting to make a comeback, but hasn’t looked the same since he hit 32 home runs back in 2008.

Jamieson is still a ways from the majors, but he’s shown a bit of speed and power at A+ Visalia, hitting 11 home runs with 11 steals while hitting .287. Lamb is one of the more promising prospects, hitting 13 home runs with a .303 average in just 283 plate appearances at Visalia last season. Marte played six seasons in the majors before dropping out of the spotlight in 2010 and doesn’t appear to be a factor.
