Dragic is averaging 20.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.4 steals while shooting 50.8 percent from the field, 41.0 percent from the 3-point line and 78.4 percent from the free-throw line. Those won’t win the MVP award with LeBron James and Kevin Durant doing what they’re doing, but Dragic deserves MVP consideration.
The question is, can he keep it up? As far as the hot jumpshooting is concerned, probably not. Goran has always been a pretty good finisher at the rim, but he’s been just a serviceable shooter. Even so, his last eight games have produced terrific results, with averages of 25.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 1.9 steals, with a shooting line of .596/.600/.807.
