Bolsinger has been with the Diamondbacks organization for four seasons, most recently with AAA Reno. He went just 7-7 with a 4.72 ERA after tearing up AA Mobile. He’s not ready and he’s running out of time. We’ll get to Bradley on the next slide. Chafin pitched very well for AA Mobile, going 10-7 with a 2.85 ERA in 21 starts. He’s yet to hit the AAA level, so we’ll have to wait and see if his skills translate against better opponents.
Hudson is the most interesting name on this list, as he looked like a real stud back in 2010 and 2011, combining to go 23-13. In 2011, his ERA was 3.49 in 222 innings, with 169 strikeouts. Then, tragedy struck and Hudson needed Tommy John surgery. He didn’t pitch in 2013 and is hoping to make it back. Schugel came over from the Angels system, where he got rocked in AAA. He went 4-6 with a 7.05 ERA there and won’t be a factor in the major leagues this season.
