Let’s take a look into some of the buzz surrounding the Phoenix Coyotes from today.
Christopher Hair, of “Five For Howling” SB Nation, wrote yesterday about the one year anniversary of the current era of the Phoenix Coyotes. Here’s an excerpt:
"“Today is the one year anniversary of that introductory press conference and the official sale of the Coyotes to IceArizona. How have things changed in the year since the Coyotes have had owners? For one, the Coyotes have begun a re-branding process, officially becoming the Arizona Coyotes on June 27, 2014. The name change was both symbolic and necessary, the Coyotes haven’t played in Phoenix since 2003 and the name change allows fans all over the state to call the Coyotes their own.”"

Catherine Silverman, a fellow Fansided writer for Howlin Hockey, wrote a piece analyzing the new Phoenix Coyotes’ Martin Hanzal. Here’s a highlight from her article:
"“Joining the team for 72 games in his second season and 81 games in his third, it seemed clear that Hanzal was going to be one of the team’s big stars. He also broke the double digit mark for scoring both seasons, bringing home eleven goals each year, and continued to bring home twenty-plus assists. He also scored the fastest hat trick in Coyotes history on December 4, 2008, against the Toronto Maple Leafs. It took him only 20 minutes and 27 seconds of play time to score all three goals.Hanzal has had a number of other impressive games and goals, but the one most fans will remember above all else happened on April 12, 2012, just six months after being named the team’s alternate captain.”"
