Final: Arizona Cardinals 32, Houston Texans 0

The Arizona Cardinals were blazing in the desert Saturday night as they would put on a show against the Houston Texans with a 32-0 victory. Both sides of the ball played extremely well with the offense scoring on command and the defense forcing turnovers.

What would end up standing from the rest, though, would be the Cardinals’ high-flying offensive attack. It did not matter who was playing quarterback.

Carson Palmer, Drew Stanton, and even fellow rookie Logan Thomas all were excellent in the Arizona Cardinals preseason opener. These 3 quarterbacks would all have success moving the ball down-field, with each throwing for a touchdown.

The same would go for the entire receiving group as John Brown, Brittan Golden, and Jaron Brown would combine for 13 receptions and have 141 yards receiving. These players had success even with receivers, Michael Floyd and Ted Ginn out with injuries.

One major standout player from this receiving group had to be rookie wide receiver, John Brown. Brown would end up having 5 receptions and 87 yards receiving. Even on plays where Brown was not thrown to, he was getting open in some way down the field.
