On Saturday the Arizona Cardinals will take on the Houston Texans in the first preseason game of the year! The Cardinals will be going in to the game in a lot better shape than the Texans.

Tyrann Mathieu – OUT
Matheiu hopes to be back on the practice field in “the next two to three weeks.” Coach Bruce Arians has said all along, though, that he doesn’t expect Honey Badger to suit up for live action before Arizona’sWeek 5 meeting with the Denver Broncos.
Houston Texans Injury Report
Jadeveon Clowney – Day-to-day
Although Clowney returned to practice on Thursday, it is unlikely that he will play in tonight’s game. Clowney has been sitting out of practice since an upper leg injury on August 2nd. When asked if Bill O’Brien will start Jadeveon, he added a little sass and said this
The injury doesn’t seem serious but his status for the preseason opener is still in question.
Arian Johnson – Out
Out with an undisclosed injury, Arian Johnson will also miss the game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Jonathan Joseph – Out
Johnson (toe) said he doesn’t think he’s playing in Saturday’s preseason opener. He added there is no doubt he’ll be ready for Week 1.
