There is no doubt about it, the Phoenix Mercury are on fire this season and their game against the Minnesota Lynx proved just that.

It was a real matchup of the best two teams in the WNBA, which came down to the wire as Diana Taurasi hit the winner for the Phoenix Mercury. She hit a 20-footer with 2.9 seconds left, and Brittney Griner blocked a last-second layup attempt by Minnesota’s Lindsay Whalen to lift the Mercury over the Lynx 82-80 on Saturday, snapping the Lynx’s 11-game winning streak.
