Arizona Cardinals vs. Minnnesota Vikings Weather Report
By Mario Hicks
The Arizona Cardinals will travel to Minnesota to take on the Vikings tonight at TCF Bank Stadium. According to weather.com the temperature at game time will be 79 degrees.
Weather.com reports that there will be scattered thunderstorms with a 50% chance at rain throughout the night. There will also be a slight breeze as the winds are set to move 6 MPH NE.
The weather conditions may have an effect on the Cardinals quarterbacks. Last week against the Houston Texans, Carson Palmer along with Logan Thomas and Drew Santon all moved the ball through the air very effectively.
With the rain it may be harder to make the accurate throws. The Cardinals will need to rely on the running game in order to be successful on offense tonight.
The Cardinals had the 23rd ranked rushing offense last season, so look for them to try out a lot of different running backs tonight in a effort to stabilize that part of their offense.
Teddy Bridgewater struggled with his accuracy during his pro day, which dropped his draft stock tremendously. He will get a chance to showcase his throwing ability tonight in the rainy weather.
The game is set to start at 5:30 PST. This is the second of four preseason games.
The Arizona Cardinals first regular season game is against the San Diego Chargers on Sept 8. For the rest of their schedule click here.
