Rumors: Houston Rockets Interested In Eric Bledsoe?

It has been quite the roller-coaster with the Phoenix Suns and Eric Bledsoe and the Suns have been more than patient with the restricted free agent. It’s starting to look like a sign-and-trade to the Houston Rockets is a strong possibility.

It feels like the Phoenix Suns organization has come to their breaking point with the saga. As reported earlier, Robert Sarver, Suns owner, has not heard from Eric Bledsoe in four months and it doesn’t appear as though the two are coming to an agreement any time soon.

Earlier this offseason, Phoenix offered Bledsoe a four-year, $48 million contract but the former Wildcat talent laughed and suggested that the Suns were doing the dirty on him.

House of Houston think Eric Bledsoe would be a good fit for the Rockets.

"“Chris Broussard has mentioned the Rockets as a possible destination former Kentucky Wildcat. The Rockets traded Jeremy Lin so there is a void to be filled in the point guard department.Daryl Morey is known to be aggressive so the Rockets could emerge as a favored suitor for the point guard. The Rockets have been looking to make a splash all summer and with a point guard hole to fill, Eric Bledose would make the most sense.Although Patrick Beverley started in the majority of the games last year, if the Rockets sign Eric Bledsoe, Beverley would most likely be moved to the sixth man role. This would only add to the depth of the roster.”"

It is obvious that he would be a fantastic fit and upgrade to Houston’s overall talent. If the Rockets were to include some of their younger pieces (Terrence Jones, Donatas Motiejūnas, Clint Capela, etc…), the Suns could be interested in a trade-and-sign. Although, the Suns already have a surplus of young talent, including T.J. Warren, Tyler Ennis and Bogan Bogdanovic.

If the Rockets and Suns engage in trade talks, who would you like to receive in return?
