Arizona Cardinals

Coming into last season, NFL experts have had very low expectations for the Arizona Cardinals. This season is quite different as experts and fans have a belief that the Cardinals can make the playoffs. In the recent weeks, the Cardinals have been hit with some big injuries, Darnell Dockett is out for the year which is a big blow for this team, but it leaves Calais Campbell with the chance to step up as the team leader. John Abraham faces the threat of suspension in what could be his last season. The defense does still have Patrick Peterson and the good news of the return to health of Tyrann Mathieu.

Carson Palmer is back at the QB position. He has yet to fully answer all of the questions about how he responds under pressure. But he has shown he can distribute the ball under Coach Bruce Arians. With Larry Fitzgerald at the WR position, the Cardinals are still a threat at offense. The emergence of Andre Ellington in the backfield only enhances the Cardinals offense.
