Prediction

Looking at the schedule which is tough, it matches up against the AFC West this year. I have completed a breakdown of who should finish where and with the home field advantage I feel Seattle will take the division but not the no 1 overall seed. I think the renaissance of Carson Palmer under the coaching genius of Bruce Arians and the emergence of Ellington will see The Arizona Cardinals take second and earn a wildcard spot. I would have said the St. Louis Rams would make the playoffs as well, but with injury to Sam Bradford that idea goes out the window. I think the Niners will manage a winning season but injuries and absences on defense will prove costly for the team from the Bay.

Once in the playoffs all bets are off as it all starts again. My gut feeling is that the teams in the West might just beat each other too much and let in a team like the Eagles or the Packers, into the Super Bowl. The Cardinals of 2013 showed that if you can hit a good run at the right time then anything is possible, so with added motivation of a home Super Bowl don’t be surprised if this years Cardinals are right there in the mix this time either.
