7. Arizona Wildcats
The future success or failure of the Wildcats lyes at the feet of the quarterback. Anu Solomon gets the start against UNLV but look for Rich Rodriguez to make a quick change if the offense starts to stumble.
6. Arizona State Sun Devils
Running Back DJ Foster will lead a high-powered offense that will have no trouble scoring points. The question is whether the defense can get enough stops to help the Sun Devils win.
5. Washington Huskies
New Head coach Chris Petersen brings a winning pedigree from Boise State but can that translate to a major conference?
4. USC Trojans
The Trojans are facing some early adversity with the controversy surrounding senior corner and defensive leader Josh Shaw. The Trojans should be able to take out their frustrations on Fresno State in week 1.
