The fourth preseason game is redundant enough. But for the Arizona Cardinals vs San Diego Chargers the final preseason game is an exercise in superfluity. The very same two teams meet in week one of the regular season making this game nearly unwatchable for the average fan.

But as unnecessary as this game is for the average fan, it is vital for the players trying to make either the practice squad or active roster. The game is also vital for the coaching staff who will most certainly be combing over the game tape to decided who makes the final cut.

With most of the starters scheduled to sit this one out, RB Zach Bauman will get one last chance to impress the coaches and show that he can help the Cardinals running game.

If Bauman can earn a spot on the roster he might be able to help a Cardinals running game that has had trouble getting traction this preseason.

"Running between the tackles is what I love to do, so I think that’s just going to come naturally in this game.”"
