Here at Heat Waved we like to put the spotlight on the “Wild Wildcat of the Game” from each week. In our inaugural spotlight Anu Solomon takes home the award.

We discussed the quarterback battle earlier in the week here. But we didn’t know that Anu Solomon would take over the field the way he did last night.

Solomon would go on to break the Wildcats freshmen passing yards record throwing for 425 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Solomon was also efficient on the ground. He ran 8 times for 50 yards as well.

The Arizona Wildcats set a school record for total yards with 787.

Excitement carried throughout the game, and was rejuvenated with every pass.

ESPN’s College Football enjoyed the record breaking Anu Solomon put on UNLV.

The Wildcats went on to beat the UNLV Rebels 58-13 with Anu Solomon’s monster game.

The Wildcats will travel to San Antonio for their next game. They will take on UTSA on Thursday September 4th at 7:00 p.m.
