We are at the first week of the NFL regular season so, finally, the wait is over for real NFL football. Now, with that being said, ESPN releases a weekly power ranking for all 32 NFL teams. With week one finally here, they have released their first set of power rankings for the NFL season.

Here is the top 10 teams on the list:

1. Seattle Seahawks

2. Denver Broncos

3. New England Patriots

4. San Francisco 49ers

5. New Orleans Saints

6. Green Bay Packers

7. Philadelphia Eagles

8. Indianapolis Colts

9. Cincinnati Bengals

10. Chicago Bears

So where are the Arizona Cardinals? They are ranked #14. Right in the middle of the pack.

ESPN questions the offensive line for the Cardinals which, to them, is why they ranked the Cardinals so far down. This is true as the Cardinals struggled to keep Carson Palmer upright last season. He was sacked a career high 41 times.

I believe, though, the Cardinals have the ability to rise up this list and maybe even into the top-10 before too long. They have the weapons at wide receiver, they have several pieces on defense, and they have a quarterback who can sling the rock.

The offensive line will be a key area to focus on as the Cardinals go on their 2014 campaign but, if they can hold up better than last year, they have the possibility of making some noise in a tough NFC west division and maybe even earning a playoff spot which is something they are very capable of accomplishing.

Its game week which means NFL football, but most importantly, Arizona Cardinals football. Are you ready?
