How The West Is Won – NFL Week One

This is part one of a weekly look at the four teams making up the NFC West. Hopefully, you will be able to refer back to these articles as a season summary of the NFC West.

So, here we go, entering Week One, all 32 teams in the NFL start on a level playing field. Divisional rankings are still based on alphabetical order, and all things are possible for those that dare to dream.

Jerry Glanville, of course famously once pointed out that NFL stood for Not For Long. For 16 teams, this could certainly be the case as the season is only a precious 17 weeks long. I will go through the teams in chronological order of when they played, let’s begin this series with the defending Super Bowl Champions, Seattle Seahawks.
