The Rest

A few surprises, Titans beat a poor looking Kansas City Chiefs, Miami came from behind to beat the New England Patriots. Buffalo Bills went and won in overtime in Chicago to ensure Patriots in last place in AFC East, first time in how long? In the last game that Ray Rice was technically a Raven (but suspended) the Ravens went down to the Bengals. Cleveland Browns ignored the Jonny Football hype and gave Pittsburgh a fright before the Steelers won in OT.

Since the games finished, the Ray Rice video was released; did the NFL have it? didn’t they? A former FBI Chief will now investigate.  We do know Ravens have released Rice and the League has now banned him indefinitely.  There is a gathering cloud on social media that may see commissioner Roger Goodell in further heat, depending on what the independent investigation now finds, but it seems a lot of people want him out.

The league may be about to release an updated drugs policy and those players serving bans under it may be reinstated as early as Sunday, possibly including the highest (pun intended) profile one of Josh Gordon.

We shall see and watch this progress. Only question, I wonder, is should the policy come to pass, will the Seahawks players no longer need to tell us they are on Adderoll and tell us what it actually was instead?
