It was originally thought that Carson Palmer would be able to play for the Cardinals against the Giants.  But NFL Insider Ian Rapoport is now reporting that Palmer will miss Sunday’s match-up against the Cardinals because of an injured shoulder.

This is great news if you are a Giants fan.  New York struggled to keep up with the Detroit Lions receiving corp last week.  Now that Carson Palmer has been sidelined, the Giants may be able to handle the Cardinals passing attack.

This puts more pressure on Andre Ellington and the Cardinals rushing offense to open up opportunities for Larry Fitzgerland and Micheal Floyd down field.
