As the season moves on the PAC-12 is proving itself as a National Power Conference. The teams listed in the top PAC-12 Power Rankings have avoided being upset by inferior teams and have scored tough road wins against other major conferences.

Sure there have been some missteps (like USC’s loss to Boston College) but overall the conference deserves to be mentioned as one of the best in college football.

After a week layoff, here are the PAC 12 Power Rankings for Week 3.

PAC-12 Power Rankings

12 Washington State Cougars

Last Week: Washington State 59 Portland State 21

The Cougars got a win last week.  But it came at the expense of PAC-12 punching bag Portland State.  With improvements made by both the Buffaloes and the Huskies, Washington State sits at the bottom of the PAC-12.

11 Colorado Buffaloes

Last Week: Arizona State Sun Devils 38 Colorado Buffaloes 24

The Buffs played the Sun Devils tough.  They are rebuilding but if they play with passion they could take a couple of teams by surprise this season.
