3 UCLA Bruins
Last Week: UCLA 20 Texas 17
A gutsy win on the road with their back-up quarterback. The Texas Longhorns are still tough but a shadow of their former selves. Would have liked to see UCLA take control of this game. That said, the Bruins could have a special season brewing.
2 Stanford Cardinal
Last Week: Stanford 35 Army 0
Stanford took care of business at home against an inferior team. Normally that’s not enough to earn you a bump in the power rankings but losses by USC and an unimpressive performance by UCLA make the Cardinal the second best team in the PAC-12 this week.
1 Oregon Ducks
Last Week: Oregon 48 Wyoming 14
The Cowboys scared Oregon…for the 1st quarter. After the Ducks got warmed up they destroyed the Wyoming Cowboys. The Ducks are ranking #2 in the country for a reason.
