The 2-0 Arizona Cardinals face their first division test when they host the San Francisco 49ers at University of Phoenix Stadium.  The Cardinals will have to overcome some adversity this week after the arrest of running back Johnathan Dwyer on domestic abuse charges.

Dwyer was deactivated from the roster after his arrest on Wednesday. The Cardinals will have to try to overcome the distraction created by the Dwyer tragedy and try to find a way to be productive on the ground against a tough San Francisco defense.

The Cardinals have had some adversity on defense as well.  John Abraham was placed on season ending IR from a concussion that threatens to end his NFL career.  Abraham’s absence also leaves a huge whole on the Cardinals roster; a hole they were unable to fill before today’s clash with the 49ers.
