Arizona Coyotes Hire New Chief Marketing Officer

The Arizona Coyotes have hired John Pierce, a former U.S. Olympic Committee and Walt Disney Co. executive as their new chief marketing officer.
Pierce joins the Arizona Coyotes after eight years serving on the U.S. Olympic Committee, USOC, where he was managing director for marketing and productions.
Prior to that he spent six years at the Walt Disney Co. as director of marketing and creative contend. He was involved in the proceedings for the grand opening of the Disney Store in midtown Manhattan. He also was director of marketing for the Miami Marlins baseball team from 1996 to 2000.
Pierce joins the Arizona Coyotes after the departure of vice president for marketing, Ted Santiago.
Arizona Coyotes co-owner, President and CEOAnthony LeBlanc announced Pierce’s hiring along with the Gregg Olson’s appointment as team CFO.
“We are very pleased to add Gregg and John to our executive management team,” said LeBlanc in a statement.. “Both individuals bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organization that will help drive our future success.”
