Alex Len, who battled injuries last season, looks to be going through the same story again this year. He missed most of the 2014 Las Vegas Summer League due to an injury in the same finger.
Reports say doctors will reevaluate Len’s finger on October 15th.
Len was selected fifth overall in the 2013 NBA drafted out of Maryland. Many people were surprised by where he was selected in the draft due to, none other than, injury issues.
Alex Len missed all of the off-season leading up to the regular season while he recovered from surgery on both of his ankles. The injuries limited Len to only 42 games last season and the Suns are hoping for much more out of him this year.
The Suns will play in their first preseason game tomorrow night where they will take on Flamengo of the Brazilian national league.
