Q4. Who is the X-factor for this game?
MB: The X-factor for the Redskins continues to be quarterback Kirk Cousins. The Redskins won’t expect him to go out and win this game for them himself but if he can keep from turning the ball over and play well on third down then the Redskins will have a chance in this one.
Q5. How do you prepare for the Arizona Cardinals when you have no idea who will be their QB on Sunday?
MB: I think the Redskins will practice for both Carson Palmer and Logan Thomas. But whichever one plays the Redskins need to be ready. Bruce Arians is one of the best quarterback coaches out there and he knows how to accentuate his quarterback’s positive attributes while limiting their negatives. And looking at how Russell Wilson ran circles around the Redskins defense, Thomas’ athleticism is a concern.
