Arizona Wildcats V Washington State Cougars Start Time, TV and more

The Arizona Wildcats have had an entire week to think about their loss to USC on October 11th.  A loss that cost the team their undefeated record and the lead in the PAC 12 South. 

Now the Wildcats face the Washington State Cougars who lead the nation in passing offense but trail the nation in nearly everything else. It is a trap game for the Cats against an opponent they should beat before a big game with #25 UCLA looming next week.

Get Defensive Stops

The Cougars like to pass the ball. In fact they do it better than anyone in the country.  When the offense is working they can score quickly and often.  When its not they leave a lot of time on the clock.  The Wildcats will need to get some stops on offense or risk this game turning into a track meet.

Control The Ball

The Cougars may be able to pass but they can’t run.  On the other hand the Arizona Wildcats have a very proficient running attack.  A tool they could use to control time of possession and keep the high flying Cougars off the field.

Take Care Of The Ball

A large part of controlling the ball and time of possession is holding on to it.  The Wildcats have a big play offense themselves but must temper there desire to take a risk if it means holding on to the football.
