Arizona Cardinals Crush Cowboys At Jerry World
By Tony Fischer
The Arizona Cardinals should be considered the best team in the NFC after the 28-17 defeat of the Dallas Cowboys in Jerry World. The Cowboys were forced to start Brandon Weeden after Tony Romo was forced out of the line-up after re-injuring his back on Monday Night Football last week.

The results were predictable.
Weeden, who had a 5-15 record as an NFL starter, was only able to muster 183 yards on 18 for 33 passing. He did throw a touchdown to Dez Bryant but also threw two interceptions enroute to a 55.5 passer rating.
The Cowboys anemic pass offense also affected the running game as the Cardinals were able to hold Demarco Murray to just 79 yards rushing snapping his 8 game 100 yard streak.
What’s Old Is New Again
The combination of Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald was deadly again this week. Fitzgerald had 70 yards and 5 catches on 6 targets and although he didn’t score a touchdown had some big drive extending catches. After throwing a pick-six on the Arizona Cardinals first drive of the game, Carson Palmer was brilliant completing passes to eight different receivers for 249 yards three touchdowns.
It appears that the demise of the Palmer/Fitzgerald connection was greatly exaggerated.
Defending The Nest
The Arizona Cardinals come home next week to host the St. Louis Rams and Detroit Lions in consecutive weeks. The Rams and Cardinals will kick off from University of Phoenix Stadium at 1:25 pm next Sunday. You can catch the game on Fox.
