Arizona Diamondbacks Manager Chip Hale: I am Excited

Arizona Diamondbacks Manager Chip Hale appeared on MLB Network’s Hot Stove on Tuesday Morning and express optimism about the Diamondbacks future. Hale said he “excited” about the players on his roster citing their athleticism and versatility.
Chip Hale was asked by Ken Rosenthal about potential changes to the roster trhough trades and free agent signings. Hale responded by saying he was “focused on getting to know the guys he has” and he is willing to let the front office “do the digging for players that may improve the offense.”

The new Diamondbacks Manager also spoke about his early influences that include a couple of Twins Managers. Hale said he learned a lot from current Twinkies boss and former manager Tom Kelly about putting players in situations where they have the opportunity to be successful.
Arizona is home for Chip Hale who “cut his teeth” in the Diamondbacks organization as a manager. He said he is thrilled to be managing the Diamondbacks in his home state and excited about the opportunity to build a winner.
