Torii Hunter
After the Detroit Tigers were eliminated from the ALDS, Torii Hunter said he was exhausted. The borderline Hall of Famer was thinking about retirement but rumor has it he would be willing to come back if the price is right. Hunter would love to return to the Tigers but with outfield prospects on the rise and no room at DH the chances of the two sides coming to an agreement seem unlikely.
That could open the door for Hunter to join the Arizona Diamondbacks as a mentor for some of the young outfield prospects and an affordable one at that. Hunter is likely to command just a $4-5 million dollar salary.
