Arizona Cardinals Continue to Shock the World
That’s right, the Arizona Cardinals are an astonishing 7-1 and now have the best record in the National Football League thanks to a Denver loss to New England.
The Cardinals soared over the Dallas Cowboys this past Sunday with a final score of 28-17. Their defense played phenomenal as always, however their offense definitely stepped it up. Larry Fitzgerald had another huge game with five receptions totaling for 70 yards. Andre Ellington joined him with another big game of his own with 95 yards.

Their defense forced two turnovers in Sunday’s win. Antonio Cromartie has been on fire, with two interceptions in last week’s win over the Eagles, and another interception in this victory over the Cowboys. Pairing up with Cromartie was Tyrann Mathieu with his first interception of the season.
With another exciting Cardinals victory, the league and football fandom are finally starting to realize that this Cardinal team is definitely the real thing.
Sports fans, and most importantly, sports anchors continued to mention how the Cowboys not having Tony Romo discredits the Arizona Cardinals’ victory. Skip Bayless said on twitter, “Congrats to 7-1 Arizona. Great on 3rd down and on defense. But it wasn’t a fair fight.”
Quite funny don’t you think? Yes, having Romo out might’ve leaned the game more on the Arizona’s side, but the Cardinals did put up 28 points on the Dallas defense.

The Arizona Cardinals more than anybody know the struggle of having constant injuries as they were without Carson Palmer for two games. In fact, in their one loss this season, they even lost their second string quarterback Drew Stanton, and had their third stringer rookie Logan Thomas finish out the game. You’d have to wonder that if the Cardinals would’ve had a “fair fight” that game, would they be undefeated right now?
In recent power rankings, the New England Patriots were placed in the number one spot despite Arizona’s best record in the National Football League. Arizona sits at the number two spot for a second straight week.
The Seattle Seahawks continue their win streak, as they produced a win over the winless Raiders. Because of their victory, they remain two games behind the Cardinals. However, because San Francisco lost against the Rams, they drop down a game in the standings, now sitting at a record of 4-4 and now three games behind the Cardinals.
The Arizona Cardinals host the St. Louis Rams this Sunday who are coming off an exciting last minute game in San Francisco. Kickoff is at 2:25 M.S.T
