The Arizona Cardinals defend the nest and their 7-1 record today when they host the St. Louis Rams at University of Phoenix Stadium.  The Rams come into the game confident after a stunning 13-10 upset of the San Francisco 49er’s last week.  They would like nothing more than to stun another NFC contender on the road.

Carson Palmer enters this game feeling a little more comfortable after signing 3 year $50 million extension. He will continue his assault on NFL secondary’s by picking apart a sub par St. Louis Rams unit today. But his pocket passing style will be tested today by a solid Rams front four.

Larry Fitzgerald, John Brown and Micheal Floyd are also poised to have productive days against the undermanned St. Louis defensive backfield.

Awin for the Cardinals would all but guarnetee a spot in the playoffs with an eye on securing home field advantage.  There is a lot of football to play but beating the rams would set the Arizona Caridnals up so a solid stretch run.
